German car company Loremo is showing off its ultra-low-resistance car, simply called the Loremo, which it says can get between 130 and 150 mpg with a simple two-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and aerodynamic body. Sounds unrealistic, right? To us too, but supposedly the Loremo is set to go into production in 2009 for sale in Europe at a low cost of $15,000 Euros, or roughly $22,000.
There are plans to then bring the model to the U.S., but as a $30,000 three-cylinder model for better acceleration – 0-60 in 10 seconds. There’s no word on how that will impact the mileage, though. Besides the small, efficient engine, the Loremo – short for low-resistance-mobile – and has minimal drag, even down to its wheels, all to increase efficiency.
The design is a bit odd, with two normal front seats and two rear seats that face backward. You get into each row not via doors, but from front and rear hatches. The front hatch includes the dashboard and windshield, which will then swing back into place when you sit down. There’s no mention why doors were abandoned, but fewer moving parts could reduce weight. We’d think a simple cargo hatch would be more useful than two rear seats and reduce weight even more.
The idea that a high-efficiency car could cost so little seems crazy for some reason, and we’ll have to see if the Loremo ever delivers on its extreme promise. We’d guess it wouldn’t have a hard time selling.

2010 Honda has announced today the launch of their new BTCC team and also premiered the special edition Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200. As you have probably already guessed, the Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 will be built in only 200 units and will go on sale in April. In addition to the jam-packed Civic Type R MUGEN with its tweaked 240HP 2.0-liter i-VTEC, of which only 20 units will be sold in the UK at a hefty £38,599 a piece (approximately US$60,300 or €44,400 at today's exchange rates), Honda today announced that it will offer a less hardcore variant of the hot hatch without the performance upgrades.

The Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 is powered by the standard 201PS i-VTEC engine and features a number of styling upgrades, plus a Limited Slip Differential. The Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 features front and rear bumpers with skirts, various badges and a Limited Edition number plaque. The car comes with a Championship White exterior paint and gloss black door mirrors. The Honda Civic Type R MUGEN 200 sits on 19-inch alloy wheels and the company also plans to offer various chassis tuning parts as an option.

Inspired by MUGEN Euro’s high-performance Type R, the MUGEN 200 is fitted with unique body parts, wheels and badges to give it stand-out looks. The order bank for the MUGEN 200 opens in March, when prices will also be announced.

The New 2010 Suzuki Equator
The new Suzuki Equator will be debuted at the end of 2010 model year. The 2010 Equator will be powered by 4.0 liter V-6 engine that can produce power levels of up to 195 kilo watts at an angular speed of 5600 rpm and torque of 281 lb ft at 4000 rpm. The 2010 Equator pickup will be designed on similar lines of the Nissan Frontier, and 2010 Nissan Pathfinder.
The new engine will have the bore size of 95.5 mm, stroke of 92.0 mm and compression ratio of 9.7 with four valves per cylinder, variable valve timing and double overhead cam. The price range of the new model will be between $17,220-$30,000. The Suzuki Equator will be a midsize pickup truck that comes with all the basic safety and entertainment features.
The 2010 Equator pickup truck will be designed similar to the Nissan Frontier model. It will be offered in two different trim levels- crew cab and extended cab. Both the model will offer either the four wheel drive or the rear wheel drive configurations. The options for the engine will include 2.5 liter I-4 that can produce power up to 152 hp, 4.0 liter V-6 engine that can produce power up to 261 hp and torque of 281 lb ft.
The new equator model will be paired to either five-speed manual transmission or to the five-speed automatic transmission. It is expected that the I-4 and V-6 engines would be mated to automatic transmission. The maximum towing capacity of the next generation pickup truck will be 6500 pounds. The 2010 Equator will have the capacity to accommodate up to five passengers.

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
Do you love Super Cars? Well if you do then you just have to check out the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640! This Awesome new Lamborghini can really Rock and Roll! With two different body choices available. You can choose between a standard coupe or a convertible roadster. Although the roadster is not really a convertible, it is more like a targa top.
When you buy the standard coupe you have the choice between the paddle shifted 6 speed e-gear automated clutch manual transmission or the standard Lamborghini 6 speed manual transmission with a gated metal shifter. Also standard on the Murciélago LP640 coupe is all wheel drive, along with front, center, and rear limited slip differentials.
So what does this all meen? It meens 0 to 60 times in the low to mid 3 second range, and a Super Car top speed of 211 miles per hour!

There are additional cooling vents behind the air intakes, and a retractable canvas roof are the main differences. Performance is fairly comparable with the standard coupe. The canvas roof panel is only meant for driving around at normal speeds, and should never be installed when you want to do those high speed runs down the road. It is just made of thin canvas and the back pressure from high speeds has the possibility of sucking off the car.
Overall I don't think it matters whether you pick the coupe or the roadster. Any Super Car that is capable of going 211 miles an hours is a winner in my book!

Then if you figure in options, and let me tell you there are a lot of options available.
